Job Description : Assistant Brand Manager – Marketing

Job Requirements: Qualification: MBA (Marketing)

Experience: Relevant

• Plan and execute the marketing activity plan of assigned brands to achieve the brand objectives and

targets

• Develop and implement the annual marketing plan with Brand Manager

• Work closely with the market research teams, to effectively utilize market trends, competitor studies,

consumer attitudes and consumption habits to drive the brand strategy

• Design and implement strategies/plans based on key market trends; execute plans that result in

market share growth and other KPIs.

• Work with trade marketing and sales team on maintaining thorough focus on distribution and in-store

fundamentals on the brand.

• Lead planning and execution for all Display material development, launch events, consumer contact

activities etc with marketing services team

• Facilitate sales team on trade programs and activities and lead the development of Display and POS

material to maintain market presence in various channels & outlets.

• Track and monitor budgeted financial targets and spends, including advertising and promotion.

• Conduct post-analysis of marketing/ promotional programs and reports effectiveness and potential

for future use.

• Forecast, track and analyze the sales trends to develop better understanding of the markets and

distribution

• Analyze data, market research, and other information available; and continuously monitor

competitive activity – drawing and presenting business recommendations when appropriate.

• Monitor brand performance and key growth drivers via closely tracking sales, market trends and

brand health indicators.

• Coordinate and follow up with trade marketing & field force on monthly trade plans and sales target

& achievement.

• Close Follow-up with Value Chain, Sales Planning & Finance on Claim settlements, Inventory Status

and budgets.

• Assist in the preparation for all brand presentations, including business plans and sales meetings
