Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant field from HEC recognised University.
Proven experience of 2-4 years as a Software Test Engineer, QA Engineer, or a similar role.
Experience with manual testing and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber).
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Related experience in the FinTech industry is an advantage.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with software development teams to understand project requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
Design test cases, test scenarios, and test data sets to ensure maximum test coverage.
Execute manual and automated tests based on established test plans and procedures.
Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring their timely resolution.
Conduct root cause analysis and provide detailed defect reports to development teams.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to streamline testing processes.
Identify opportunities for test automation and work on continuous improvement initiatives.
Actively participate in Agile/Scrum activities, such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
