JOB OPPORTUNITY AS DIRECTOR GENERAL (MEDICAL SERVICES)

WAPDA is looking for dynamic and self-motivated candidate against the following post on contract basis. He/she will oversee, manage, and lead all medical, clinical, and administrative operations of WAPDA Hospitals and Dispensaries spread across the country to ensure high-quality healthcare services:

Minimum Qualification/Experience

M.B.B.S or equivalent qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council.

Experience:

25-years of service in Public, Private, Military Hospital/Institution including Medical Administration experience of 10 years.

Note:

05 years or more experience as MS / DMS in Public, Private, Military Hospital/Institution will be given preference

Competencies required:-

Ability to lead nationwide medical services and set long-term health policies.

■ Strong command over hospital operations, clinical governance, and quality standards.

Skills in budgeting, procurement, and efficient allocation of medical

resources.

■Command over Pakistan Medical Commission, Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan, Public Procurement Regulatory Authonty rules and healthcare licensing requirements.

■ Ability to monitor medical set up, performance management and capacity building of officers staff.

■ Ability to plan and respond to outbreaks, emergencies, and heath risks etc. ■To assist / provide input for maintaining productive and effective relationship with client formations.

The appointment will be on contract basis for a period of 01 year with 06 months probation extendable on satisfactory performance requirement of the Organization.

Pay Package:

For Serving Employees: Last pay drawn alongwith perks & privileges of BPS-20 as admissible under the rules. For Retired Employees: Lumpsum package of Rs. 525,000/- per month (inclusive of all perks & privileges). General Conditions & Instructions:-
